For more than 150 years, Apave has acted as a "trusted third party", accompanying the great revolutions that have fuelled history by helping them to come to fruition in complete safety. Today, the challenges are accelerating: the ecological, energy, climate and digital transitions we are undergoing are generating new risks that need to be identified, prevented and controlled. That's what our Green&Social range of services is all about. More than ever, Apave has reinforced and strengthened its expertise and know-how in specific areas such as the environment, safety at work, climate and decarbonisation, as well as in specific areas of expertise such as sustainability /CSRD reporting.

Providing tailored "Green & Social" solutions:

  • Specific expertise and know-how in the fields of the environment, health and safety, climate and decarbonisation, etc.
  • Supporting our customers: training, advising, monitoring, auditing, certifying, labelling... to help create a world and a future of trust
  • Developing high-level offerings on sustainability reporting issues and associated certifications, through our dedicated subsidiary RSE France (accredited to audit DPEFs and companies with missions).

At RTP France, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a strategic lever for the company, enabling us to meet our customers' expectations and regulatory requirements and improve our environmental and social impact.

The mission carried out in 2024 met our expectations precisely. We particularly appreciated the quality of Apave's speakers, and all the training participants were satisfied. Apave is a trusted partner that helps us deliver on our CSR commitments.

Apave was tasked with sampling and analysing the excavated soil to use its expertise to ensure compliance with environmental standards and protect the environment.

The Line C project was certified HQE sustainable infrastructure in October 2023 for the design of the structure.
Today, Tisséo Ingénierie is committed to implementing the project's environmental commitments and meeting the challenges associated with the recovery of excavated material, relying on reliable partners in construction and control.

For Piveteau Bois, a specialist in the manufacture of wood solutions, the project to build a cogeneration boiler is exceptional, as it is only the second installation of its kind in France.
Its unique feature is that the boiler is fuelled by Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).

Apave has been supporting us since the start of the project to help us meet our safety challenges. Apave has been involved in various areas, including checking the conformity of machinery, inspecting pressure equipment, checking lightning protection and electrical installations related to the process, as well as analysing emissions (atmospheric and water) and managing Atex risk.

EDF Production Électrique Insulaire is a high-performance and responsible electricity producer committed to energy transition and the economic and social development of island territories. Preserving these territories is an ecological priority, with verification of CO2 emissions from the thermal power plants that supply energy to the islands of Réunion, Corsica, Guadeloupe and Martinique. We have entrusted Apave with verifying the greenhouse gas emissions declarations of our four thermal power plants, thanks to their environmental expertise, knowledge of current regulations and presence across all territories.

The safety of hydrogen refuelling stations: a major challenge for Atawey
Atawey designs and manufactures hydrogen refuelling stations for vehicles and equipment. Sustainability and CSR

practical and personalised support


When it comes to CSR, we support our clients at every stage: training, maturity assessment, roadmap definition, and deployment assistance. Depending on client needs, this can take the form of end-to-end support or ad hoc assistance. In particular, we have a dedicated offering for CSRD compliance support, which is a regulation requiring large companies that exceed a certain threshold in terms of employees or turnover to publish a sustainability report. More broadly, within the Climate and Sustainability Department, we also carry out assignments on climate-related topics (carbon footprint, decarbonisation and adaptation to climate change) and biodiversity (planning and ecological impact studies, biodiversity footprint).

"All support begins with a scoping meeting to review objectives, determine governance, present the methodologies used and validate the steps and schedule.
We always recommend including training in this initial phase. We then produce our analyses independently, and the project is punctuated by interactions via co-construction workshops or validation meetings at each stage of the project.

The final deliverables are presented, ideally to the Executive Committee, to enable a final assessment to be made and any future support needs to be identified."
