Asbestos

The production of asbestos products has been banned for many years, but the spread of asbestos has been so widespread that it is still a significant presence, particularly in the building industry. The asbestos fibres contained in the products can be inhaled with dangerous consequences for health and, as the age of the products increases, the risk of release of these fibres increases.

Atmospheric emissions

Atmospheric emission is defined as "any solid, liquid or gaseous substance introduced into the atmosphere that may cause atmospheric pollution".

To help you keep pollution levels under control, APAVE ITALIA performs analyses to control emissions from atmospheric discharges on the basis of the requirements set out in the company's specific authorisation.

It also carries out Migration Tests to assess compliance with Italian and European legislation of materials and objects in contact with food (plastic, rubber, steel, glass, ceramic articles) and assesses the suitability of use of materials in microwave ovens, dishwashers and in case of thermal shock.

Nuclear

Thanks to its authorised and qualified technicians, APAVE ITALIA supports APAVE SA as an inspector for Italian factories/customers abroad in order to increase the benefits of such customers, complying with regulations and assessing the supply chain, which is essential for nuclear industries.
